Farmers Market Today!

July 24th is another Triple Activity Night in Manchester MI.

1st – is the Manchester Farmers Market from 4-7 pm on Adrian Street. The produce season is in full swing now. You’ll find a great variety of vegetables plus fruits like blueberries, cherries, and even early apples.

2nd – St. Mary’s Church is having an Ice Cream Social at the church on Main Street.

3rd – Gazebo Concert at Wurster Park on Main Street starting at 7:30 pm. Billy King Band will be entertaining. Bring your lawn chair and blanket and enjoy the music.

Here are two special features at the Farmers Market:

  • Maureen Lochey will have her functional stoneware pottery at the market this ….all of it is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.
  • Muddy Lab Farms (Gordon McCalla) will have fresh Michigan tart cherry jam and pies no sugar, Michigan black sweet cherry jam, cherry pies and a verity of fresh produce

Upcoming activities at the Farmers Market:

August 7th is the Fairy Festival. An event for kids of all ages, but kids under 16 are encouraged to dress up (fairies and gnomes) for the dress-up contest with prizes plus lots of other fun things to do.

August 14th is the Black Sheep Festival (1st year) – a farm adventure at the market, sheep shearing at 5 and 6 pm, watch how wool is spun into yarn, bring your produce and flowers to win prizes (more info, flyers available at the July 31 market or email us at farmersmarket48158@gmail.com). Frank’s will be featuring a special menu with lamb gyros and more. The Wild Acorn and Worth Repeating will be open until 7 pm.
